The Learning and Development Business Partner will work as part of an internal Organisation Development team delivering dynamic interventions to enable the organisation to be at its most effective. This role will work in partnership with the business leaders, providing strategic and operational advice and knowledge on all learning and development related matters and drive the strategic learning and development agenda’s for the organisation to ensure that their people have the right capabilities for now and the future that support the delivery of the business strategy and goals.
This role will be required to develop and execute a learning strategy that enables organisational effectiveness and builds organisational capability. This role will be required to design blended learning offerings factoring in the implementation of a self-directed learning platform across the organisation. Working in partnership with the leaders and key stakeholders, the role will determine learning needs and requirements for the whole organisation develop/commission interventions that are strategically aligned, effective and value adding.
This role will require a strong project manager with experience of different learning and development approaches, in particular the 70:20:10 development model. A highly commercial approach with experience of managing suppliers/vendors is critical to ensure best value is driven through new and existing contractual arrangements and return on investment/best value is achieved
As well as being a partner to the business, the post holder will work collaboratively with colleagues across the People team and will embrace a one team ethos, continually supporting team development and challenging the status quo to ensure consistent, value adding interventions to our people. Also to be a thought leader on all aspects of contemporary learning and development on behalf of the organisation; sharing knowledge and building capability in others
Educated to degree in relevant discipline
CITP/CIPD or equivalent training qualification
Development Level 7 diploma in coaching
