My client within the NHS is looking to recruit a HR Manager to lead and manage the HR advisory team. The main focus of the role will be to provide a first-class pro-active advisory service to all customers across the business on a range of people matters, enabling the business to achieve its strategy through its people.
The successful candidate will be forward-thinking, pro-active, take an evidence-based approach and be continually curious by challenging the status quo to ensure a consistent, value-adding HR provision to leaders and colleagues. They will take full accountability for employee relations, policies and procedures and the on-going development of the employee lifecycle, owning the relationships with key stakeholders across the business to ensure an effective streamlined service is provided.
In addition, the successful HR Manager will lead on people initiatives for across the business including employee benefits, reward and recognition. From the initial concept, through to implementation and continual development, the HR Manager will ensure that the initiatives are beneficial for both colleagues and the business. Continual development of personal knowledge on HR best practice and employment legislation will be needed for this role as the post holder will be accountable for continually developing the HR service.
The HR Manager will work collaboratively with colleagues across the HR team and will embrace a one-team ethos, continually supporting team development and the achievement of the People Strategy as a whole.
Providing an excellent and proactive HR advisory service to all areas of the business. This will be done by leading a team that successfully coach and support managers to be confident in HR practice by offering effective HR advice and ensuring employee relation issues are effectively managed. The service will be continually developed to meet the needs of the business, leaders, managers and colleagues.
Knowledge of Agenda for Change and the NHS Plan and of NHS Job Evaluation Process would be advantageous.
Full-time – Permanent
Salary – £44,000 to £50,000
