An ambitious company with national presence is looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead a small HR team in the delivery of a first-class HR service to the business. Working closely with the Chief People Officer the successful HR Manager will also support with developing the people agenda and the ambitious growth planned through acquisition. Working at an operational level the HR Manager will provide a customer-focused HR service as well as identifying HR priorities and recommend appropriate people management solutions which support business aims.
The role will suit an experienced People Manager who enjoys working within a busy central department and working across all levels to ensure a quality service is offered to managers. This will include providing them with expert guidance, coaching and support on the full range of HR activities such as policies and procedures, terms and conditions of employment, absence management, restructuring of services, performance management, redundancy planning

This is a permanent, full time position based in Newcastle area. The business has sites across the UK so some travel would be expected when required so the ability to travel on occasion is essential.
