As a member of the leadership team the HR & Development Director will take the lead in developing a culture that enables employees to perform in accordance with the overall corporate strategic goals.
You will be responsible for building excellent relationships whilst leading a talented and motivated HR team. As well as, supporting the development, leadership and delivery of a high performing HR service whilst focusing on retention, growth and compliance. Continuously promoting the values and culture you will act as a role model and make a significant impact on how HR supports the organisation. You will be naturally resilient, used to challenge and working at pace, whilst positively influencing.
Experience of managing with mergers and acquisitions and business transformation would be highly desirable.
This role is based from the North East (Gateshead) with substantial national travel across the sites.
